Late Night Handmade Jewelry Post

Hey, readers.  Over the weekend, I got some jewelry making done.  I made a necklace featuring the skeleton cameo pendant that I got for Christmas, and a pair of earrings to go with it.  The necklace chain that came with one of the basics packs that I got was too short to fit around my neck.  So, to solve this problem, I lengthened it with some eye pins and beads.

Here's what I originally came up with.

The earrings came out great.  However, when I tried the necklace on, I realized that you couldn't really see the bead work.  It mostly hid behind my neck.  Since I didn't have any extension chains on hand, I ended up replacing the beads with some split rings.  Here's what it looks like now.

Much better.  But what about the bead work?  I didn't want it to go to waste.  So, I broke the beads up and made 2 more pairs of earrings.

Wundervoll!  Til next time.

    1. Thanks. If I had a another brass chain, I could of placed the bead work in the middle. That way, it would of been more visible.
