World Goth Day 2024

Hey, readers.  Just wanted to pop in and wish my fellow Goths a Happy World Goth Day!  If you're looking for some dark tunes to listen to celebrate, head on over to Obscura Undead's youtube channel and check out their DJ Sets & Mixes playlist.

For my fellow Goth Simmers out there, help yourself to some Gothic build/buy cc by Sixam CC.  There's the Wednesday Goth Bedroom CC Pack.  This pack comes with furniture and decor that's perfect for those that are dark at heart or have severe allergic reactions to bright colors.

You know what would go well with the items from this pack?  These windows and doors from the Love for Gothic Windows and Doors CC Pack.  This pack is perfect for Gothic mansion builds.  It also comes in handy for castle and church builds.

World Goth Day 2020

Hey, Readers.  HAPPY WORLD GOTH DAY!!!  Even though we're in quarantine, I hope you all are finding fun ways to celebrate the day.  If you're having trouble with coming up with something to do, check the World Goth Day website for a list of online events that are going on.

Need more Gothy goodness?  Last year, Cadaver Kelly created the Project Goth Playlist on her youtube channel.  The playlist is filled with all of the artists that were shared by the content creators that participated in the Project Goth Playlist Tag.  So far, it contains 80 videos.

There's also the birthday playlists that I keep on my youtube channel.  They contain a mix of goth rock, darkwave, synth-pop, electronica, neofolk and other sounds that you might find pleasing to your dark ears.  The link to my channel can be found in the blog's header.  Hope these suggestions help.

If you enjoy reading my blog and want to show some love, consider donating to my Ko-fi page.  The link can be found in the header under "SUPPORT".  Til next time.

In Not So Bright Day, In Blackest Night

Hey, readers.  Happy World Goth Day!  I celebrated the day with a trip to the eye doctor. XD  Yep, pretty boring.  Hoping the rest of you out there have found better ways to celebrate the occasion.

Til next time.

For Your Listening Pleasure

Hey, readers.  Hope you all had a good World Goth Day.  I spent mine trying to rid myself of the remainder of a cold that I have been suffering from for the last couple of weeks.  Now that I'm starting to feel a bit better, I wanted to offer up some cool music recommendations.

• Esoterik: A band from Oklahoma City driven by synth-pop and darkwave.
• As Angels Bleed: A gothic-symphonic metal band that hails from Sydney, Australia. The band is heavily influenced by vampire images and themes.
• Jess-O-Lantern: A New York artist with an acoustic horrorpunk sound.
• Night Spirit: Also from New York, Night Spirit is a power metal band with a supernatural twist.

Those are my recommendations.  Hope you find something that you like out of the list.  Now, back to trying to shake off my hacking cough.  Til next time.

Scoff, Scoff, Scoff!

Happy World Goth Day!

TIME TO GET WEIRD!!!
